Back to the warmth of Scotland. Paris has had biting easterly cold winds. We were in St Andrews on the shore today and it was positively balmy in comparison. It was very grey and violet though.

-5C here this morning. Indian winter.
Just think you could be suffering in Hobart 9pm at night and 23 degrees. Spring is just around the corner for us though, the snowdrops are out, the aconites in full bloom and now the crocus have begun to open. In about a month we will have our daffies and spring will definitely have sprung by then. (From past experience we may well have had our summer by then).
