I pay £30 a month and £10 ish for insurance and get a great toy. I have bought a few apps and got more free ones,. It is a great new toy and good fun. I keep an eye on the weather. Earthquakes from 2.5 onwards take about 20 minutes to come up on screen. Trivial pursuit, lux ( like risk). I am so happy with my new iphone. Great stuff. The nokias had a great camera with zeiss lenses which I do miss but the I phone has quite a lot more.

Y es they see it as a high risk thing so they charge extra. And as I have lost 3 phones this year I thought it is a good idea. It also means immediate replacement if the phone goes wrong I think.
