We are just back from Pudsey to see Kat and Rob. They are both in good form. Kat is looking well, must be the lack of smoke in the house (as she has banished Rob to the garden to smoke, although he did say he would give up.) I was out with Rob doing driving practice. Kat cannot take him out as she has not the 3 years driving experience and when Rachael was down she had the 3 years driving but not the years of life.
We have the races today and true to form the sun is shining and it is a glorious day. My sister in law, Jean is coming today for the first time and I think she should have a grand time. We have a huge picnic in the car parking lot. With champers and everything. AND Rachael is driving! I have been up since 7 making the lemon tarts as we have to leave at 10 to pick up Jean at the station.I also have to make goats cheese tartlets and a bean salad dish bit I forgot to buy avocados. I can get them in Perth and add them later.Last year everyone either won some money or broke even. I won a wee bit and this year I have decided on a plan. I will now lose all my money.

We had a nice day yesterday too, but as I look out of my office window now I see dark skies and lots of rain… Bah humbug.
