I have just got delivery of a really beautiful book. It is called “Land of Mountain and Flood” and is subtitles The geology and landforms of Scotland. It is seriously beautiful. One of these books you love to stroke. The lovely thing about it is that I didn’t expect it yet… well I didn’t know when it was coming.
At this moment my bored brother is struggling across the Kippen Flats at 30mph continuing the speed he appears to have done since leaving Argyll. This road can be quite slow and frustrating but T in the Park will not help as thousands of teenagers, his offspring included, will be converging on Balado 15 miles between Dick and ourselves.
