I have ordered a couple of silk pillow toppers in the hope of cool pillows. That is what they advertise anyway. Several years ago I bought a “Chillow” which is a plastic thing filled with water on foam and the air pushed out . It is cooler but it is plastic and it wrunkles up so I hope th e silk pillow topper works. Jim is having severe problems with hot pillows in Paris possibly due to the roasting hot weather and sauna for a bedroom , so he may have to pack the silk topper with him every week.

It is the first rainy day for weeks, well I mean really rainy. It is also the first day of the school holidays. I have to get some housework done but can I be bothered…it is such a pain. The housework and ironing needs done the garden needs done and the decorating needs done. All of which are vicious circles. Gets done dirty clothes mess up weeds grow grass grows back to where you started. pain!
